Limericks! We’ve all seen them. Scrawled on the bathroom wall, spray-painted on buildings, and even written in dust on my rear windshield. That one was written in loopy, finger-width letters that wiggled in the end. We can only assume the generous author had collapsed into giggles.

Point of view (POV) is simply a term to describe who is telling the reader the story and from what perspective. There are plenty of resources out there to help with POV because it is an essential technique to understand when writing fiction. Some go into great detail and divide and sub-divide POVs based on distance from or closeness to the reader. But for practical purposes, I've found that there are 3 basics POV levels that writers work with.

Let’s face it…we all want to find a way to make more money. Especially with the current state of the economy, extra cash, whether $20.00 or $200.00 is welcome. But, with hiring freezes and mass unemployment, how do you go about earning some additional moolah? Ever think of starting a freelancing career?
